I know I dropped off the grid lately, but it seems like there’s always too much to do and this little blog has to take a back seat! Don’t worry, I am so going to make it up to you with the recipe in this post. One of my favorite breakfast pastries is scones. I only first attempted to make them myself last year. When I did, it was like a revelation.
For years friends and family have been telling me that I need to open a bakery of my own. Baking is obviously a passion of mine and while I’ve toyed with the idea of starting a business, time spent with my family has always been a bigger priority. The two years that K has been here, I’ve made his birthday cakes and they have really turned out well. I’ll share those in another post!
